Monthly Recap

April Recap

Happy May! I was planning on sharing my April recap last Friday, but decided to wait until today to share the post to include things from this past weekend. April was a good, yet tiring month! I spent a few weekends away from Columbus and worked out a ton, which is why it has been slow on the blog. I am looking forward to May because it’s my birthday month + Chase graduates college! Here are some of my highlights from April:

I traveled to Covington, KY and Cincinnati, OH to visit two friends for a weekend. The above cover photo was taken on the Ohio River from the Cincinnati side. I shared blog post recaps on: Findlay Market, Exploring Covington, and Over-The-Rhine. // Chase + I went to Ann Arbor for Easter to visit his mom. It was a quick, but enjoyable trip. // I trained for my 5K and stuck with running 2 times a week and working out another 4 times a week. My 5K ended up being cancelled due to thunderstorms, so I am going to look into running another one (any ideas for 5Ks in Columbus?). CRIS still beat their fundraising goal (they raised around $50k) and my team raised more than our goal of $500! Even though I am disappointed the race didn’t happen, I am happy that I incorporated running into my exercise plan and I had a fun brunch with my team when the race got cancelled. // I made a TONΒ of wedding things + ordered my wedding shoes. I made hairpins, corsages for the moms, map hearts, and soaps for favors. I also designed our wedding invitations. I’ve been putting a lot of my creative energy into wedding things recently. //

What was your highlight from April? I’ll be sharing my May goals on the blog later this week! Have a great start to your week!
