I’m slowly recapping my trip to Cincinnati and Covington – today I am sharing some photos that I took in Covington! Covington is actually in Kentucky and is across the river from Cincinnati. One of the friends that I visited lives in Covington and we spent Friday night and Sunday morning exploring Covington. We had dinner at Frida 602 Friday night and brunch at Hotel Covington Sunday morning. At Frida 602, the three of us shared the salsa trio and queso (which was way different than any queso I have ever had – the cheese was chunkier, kind of like cheese on a pizza), then I got the quesadilla. I had the shrimp + grits at Hotel Covington and we all shared the french toast. We also popped into Braxton Brewing to see the inside of the brewery and I got a six-pack of the Dead Blow Tropical Stout to take home.
Covington is SO cute. Parts of Covington reminded me King Street and the architecture in Charleston. I can see why my friend really enjoys living in Covington! I feel like these pictures don’t do it justice because I didn’t take pictures the first night since it was dark. I’m hoping to do another trip with Chase this summer/fall back to Cincinnati and Covington because there’s still a lot to see. It’s hard when friends move away, but I sure like visiting their new homes! I’ll share my recap of Over-The-Rhine next week.
Have a great weekend + a happy Easter!
