Hey there! I didn’t intend to take two separate weeks off from the blog this month when the month began. I’ve been busy and it’s been hard to make the blog a priority, but I hope to get on back on track! I sorta mentioned this on Instagram last week – I feel like I have been in a creative rut recently. I think a lot of it has been due to the weather and that led to the lack of motivation to take photos. It felt like spring this past weekend and I was excited to get out to adventure and take photos. On Saturday, Chase and I went on a bike ride around Columbus and it was SO great to get back on our bikes. It feels a lot different to bike outside from my spinning classes, but I feel like my spinning classes have prepared me to have better endurance outside the gym. On Sunday, we went to Franklin Park Conservatory (where these photos were shot) and the Columbus Museum of Art. It rained off-and-on that day, so it was a great day to enjoy the conservatory and museum. I have a membership to Franklin Park Conservatory and the museum is free on Sundays!
I had been eyeing this dress on Etsy for months! I ordered it a couple weeks ago after deciding I couldn’t live without it anymore. I love the vintage style, floral designs, and the coral color! I was planning on saving it for Easter, but I really wanted to wear it and it was perfect for FPC. I think this dress would also be great for my summer bridal shower. My earrings are a little difficult to see in these photos, but they match the dress perfectly. I won the earrings on Facebook from Helen Winnemore’s last fall. It looks like they don’t have them in stock anymore, but they are the smaller size in the color “Pink Grapefruit” – Noon Designs has the larger size in this color here. If you are in Columbus, I would definitely recommend visiting Helen Winnemore’s in German Village, it is my favorite shop in that neighborhood!
Have a great Monday!
