Monthly Recap

February Recap

February was a busy month for me! It has been an adjustment the last two months adding gym-time to my schedule and cutting back on my hours at the salon. I’m enjoying my schedule so far this year and it is still keeping me busy. This month also consisted of a lot of wedding things! We hit the 6 month mark in February and it is all feeling more real! Anyway, here are some of my highlights from February:

Chase + I went to Cleveland to pick up my wedding dress! We also met up with one of my bridesmaids and her boyfriend + enjoyed the afternoon in Cleveland together. // I got a FitBit! // I celebrated Galentine’s Day with some of my best girlfriends. I hosted a get-together where we had a breakfast-for-dinner pot-luck, a homemade photo-booth, and shared lots of laughs. // I sent out our Save-The-Dates! // I sang at church three weekends in a row with the worship team. // Chase + I made some big changes to the house and it’s starting to feel like “our home” instead of just mine. We added a two bookshelves in the living room and I purchased a new hutch for the dining room. // I had my wedding flower consultation with The Flowerman. It was such a wonderful experience and they were exactly what I wanted in a florist. Since we’re trying to keep the cost down for the wedding, I was planning to make a majority of the flowers and wanted real flowers for bouquets and the altar pieces. They were able to do that and we stayed under budget. I’ll be going a few days before the wedding and assembling my own bouquets, which should be fun! // I attended Mayor Ginther’s State of the City address. //

How was your month? Have a great start to your week!
