What I Wore — Plaid + Blazer

Happy Monday! Last week was crazy between the current political climate and my busy schedule. Luckily, Chase and I got some time together over the weekend to decompress while watching movies and exploring a bit of Columbus. We ended up watching three movies: Short Term 12, Paterson, and Hell or High Water. On Sunday, we went to the Columbus Metropolitan Library in Downtown Columbus so I could get a library card and see the remodeled library. The library had been under construction for a while and opened last summer, but I hadn’t checked it out yet. I plan on sharing some photos of the library later this week! After walking around the library, we snapped these photos in the Topiary Park, which is inspired by this painting. Last time Chase and I went to the Topiary Park together we almost got attacked by a duck…this visit was a more pleasant experience.

I’ve been wearing variations of this outfit for the past couple weeks. I picked up the plaid shirt from Second Chance before I went to Virginia for my NYE trip and I didn’t realize I would wear it so much! I’ve been living in my Old Navy jeans. I love how the blazer and booties dress up the outfit. The blazer was a hand-me-down from a client at the salon and I love the color. The blazer is one of the pieces of clothing that I wish I had in every color and pattern. Do you have any items in your wardrobe like that? I hope to add more blazers to my wardrobe in the future because they’re great for dressing up an outfit and layering up for warmth.

Have a great start to your week!
