What I Wore — Blanket Scarf

First outfit post of the year! It’s always so difficult to take outfit photos this time of year. Lately, it has either been extremely cold, too dark, or raining in Columbus. Chase and I snapped these photos earlier this week when I got home from work. It wasn’t too cold when we shot these, but we still took the photos pretty quickly. My blanket scarf did keep me warm at my torso, though! I kind of wished there was more snow on the ground because that would have been pretty for the photos. I haven’t taken any snow filled photos this season, so I hope it snows a few more times.

I got this scarf from ModCloth before Christmas after eyeing it for a while online. When they had a sale I made the jump to get it and this cat purse. At first, the scarf was smaller than I anticipated. All the reviews said it was huge and could basically be a blanket. Little did I know that I actually didn’t have it unfolded all the way for the first few days of wear. It is a super soft scarf and great for days when my office feels like an ice-cube. I got these pants a few weeks after I got the black pair of Rockstar jeans from Old Navy (worn in this post).  I love the way that they fit (I wear a size 6 in pants at Old Navy) and I enjoy how I finally found a pair of pants that I love and feel good in. I have enjoyed styling my two pairs of pants and can’t wait to share more outfits with them on the blog!

Have a great weekend!
