Have you watched the Gilmore Girls revival: A Year in the Life?! I finished all four episodes on Friday (broken up throughout the day) and watched the first one again Sunday night. Chase was a champ and watched all of them with me the first time. I’ve been a Gilmore Girls fan for the last 10 years and I was super excited when I heard about the revival. It did make me a little nervous when I first heard about it because I wanted it to remain true to the show (while keeping Lorelai and Luke together). I have mixed feelings about the revival and the ending. Overall, I think the show remained true to most of the characters and the style of the show, but there were a few things I didn’t love (without giving away spoilers, I didn’t like how “Summer” detoured).
Shirt: I Spot You via Etsy ~ Pants + Plaid Shirt (wayy old – found in my HS choir room): Old Navy ~ Booties: Macy’s
A few weeks leading up to the revival, I realized that I needed some Gilmore Girls merch for the revival. I looked to Etsy for shirts, mugs, and accessories. I made the decision to order the shirt in these photos and a Luke’s Diner enamel pin (on it’s way to me now!). The shirt arrived on the day of the arrival, so I changed in it as soon as it arrived to wear for “Summer” and “Fall.” We took these pictures the following day (lack of sunlight after the package came) in Old Towne East. Also, THESE PANTS! I bought pants that I love, guys! I went to Old Navy in search of jeans last week and I tried on this pair and loved them (they’re out of stock online currently, but they’re Rockstar Skinnies). One of my November Goals was to find pants that made me feel good and I can check that off! I love them so much that I want to get another pair, maybe in olive? Also, this is the first outfit post I’ve shared since I got my nose pierced! I got it pierced at the beginning of the month and I love it.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Have a great start to your week!
