These photos were taken in front of Jones Middle School in Upper Arlington. Chase and I went to breakfast at South of Lane before we took these photos. It was our second time at South of Lane and we had been meaning to get back since we went for the first time last summer. South of Lane is a quaint restaurant that is only open for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the signature French Toast with bacon and Chase had an omelet special. After brunch and taking these photos, we walked around to some of the other shops in the area.
Dress: Thrifted at Independents’ Day ~ Booties: Macy’s ~ Purse: Second Chance Consignment (originally from Target)
I think this dress is perfect for autumn. The burgundy color with the flowers makes me think of the leaves changing and the temperatures dropping. My mom shortened this dress for me because it was originally at calf-length and looked too boxy in my opinion. I can’t wait to layer this dress once the temperatures do drop (it’s been in the 70-80s recently in Columbus). I hope I can add more burgundy to my closet this autumn. Also, isn’t the coloring of the tree in the photos beautiful?
Have a great Thursday!
