What I Wore — Mismatched

mismatchedbwtitle

I’m breaking up the vacation posts with this outfit from last weekend!  Chase and I had a meeting in Franklinton to discuss a wedding venue and this is what I wore to it. It was a great meeting and we might have found the right venue for us! We have made a ton of  wedding decisions recently, which makes me really happy. We biked to Franklinton,  enjoyed a few drinks at Land Grant Brewing Company, and took these outfit photos around the neighborhood. I love shooting around Franklinton because of all the industrial buildings and warehouses covered in murals.

I got this polka-dotted top and striped skirt from Second Chance Consignment earlier this summer. They’ve both already been featured on the blog (see the top here & the skirt here). I was looking at my closet recently and I decided that I wanted to try them together because I enjoy mixing prints and the fabric from each item is similar. I LOVE this outfit – I felt so good in this outfit. I have felt uninspired by my clothes (& life) recently and have been repeating several items (like the skirt in this outfit post). Second Chance Consignment, my favorite clothing shop located right in my neighborhood, is having their huge sale this weekend and I am hoping to pick up a few items that will make me feel inspired and stylish again.

What items in your wardrobe make you feel inspired? Have a great Wednesday!
