As I mentioned earlier this week in my twenty-second birthday post (see here), Chase & I traveled to Yellow Springs for a bike ride. Before stopping at Yellow Springs, we made a pit stop at Clifton Mill. My boss at the salon and her husband said we should make a stop during my birthday breakfast. I’m so glad we did because I was able to shoot some photos and I hardly took any in Yellow Springs because of the rain. Clifton Mill is one of the largest mills around that was built in 1802 and is still functioning!
The area around Clifton Mill was so cute! Check out the gas station museum and the Black Smith! The gas station was my favorite. I loved how it was covered in vintage signs! I wish the weather would have cooperated more because we had plans to take a quick hike at the Clifton Gorge. We might take another day trip to Yellow Springs this summer to get another bike ride in and take a hike at the gorge. Clifton Mill is also supposed to have a great Christmas display, so maybe we’ll make a trip up around Christmastime!
Have you gone on any cool adventures recently? Have a great weekend!
