Two outfit posts in one week, what is this?! It’s rare that I actually get to document an outfit at the end of the workday! I work most weekday evenings at the salon, but the past few weeks I have had Tuesdays off because one of the stylists has been on vacation. These photos were taken after I got some dinner with a couple friends in Harvest Pizza in German Village – such great food! We shared a pepperoni pizza and a white pizza, and I got a black cherry milkshake for dessert. It was such a beautiful day that I didn’t want to be inside for the remainder of the evening, so Chase & I took a walk around the neighborhood and stopped at Winking Lizard for drinks (& dinner for him). We took these photos on our walk by my high school.
Dress: consignment shop ~ Shoes: K-Mart (super old) ~ Vintage Purse: Flower Child ~ Sunglasses: Target ~ Bracelet & Necklace: gifts ~ Flower Earrings: Red Giraffe Designs
Guys, I have had this dress FOREVER…well, not really forever, but for like 6 years. I got it at a consignment shop that used to be down the street from my parents’ house that is no longer in business. I was so excited when they opened and I ended up buying several things during the time they were open. I was really disappointed when they closed, but I am happy to have a few dresses still from their shop – like this one. It’s crazy that I haven’t documented it on the blog yet! This dress makes me think of summer because of the warm & vibrant colors. I don’t wear this dress a ton because the fit makes it a little more formal, but I thought it would go great with my new necklace. My necklace is the skyline of Columbus…how awesome is that?! One of my good friends from grade school made it for me as a graduation/birthday gift. I love it! Emma is studying glass at Ohio State and actually has an Etsy shop that you should check out!
Do you have any staples in your wardrobe that scream summer? Have a great Thursday!
