What I Wore — Playful Professional

playfulproftitle

Here is another restyled outfit! I shared an outfit post of this dress last August (see here). The blazer and flats with the dress give off a playful, yet professional vibe. Neither of my jobs have strict dress codes, so I generally get to wear whatever I want and for me that still usually means dressing up. This dress looks a lot shorter in these photos than I realized! I have loved styling this teal blazer. A client from the salon a work at gave me a bunch of clothes a few months ago and this blazer was in it, originally it is from The Limited. I definitely feel like a planning professional whenever I wear it. My Moorea Seal flats (here is the new version of my shoes), that have already made several appearances on the blog, were actually purchased to be professional shoes. I’m definitely not a heals person, so flats and boots all the way!

These photos were taken when I hung out with my best friend from high school and my best friend from college on Friday and it was SO fun! They had not met before, and I had been wanting them to meet for a while. It’s such a cool thing when old and new friends can come together! We ended up having dinner at the North Market, then I wanted to take pictures and my high school bestie suggested we go to the Columbus Commons because she had never been. After riding the carousel like little kids and taking photos around the park, we took a few pictures around CCAD. We ended the night with girl talk & wine at my place. It was a great way to kick-off my weekend! Have you ever gotten together with old and new friends? How did it go?

Have a great Tuesday!
