April was a weird month for me! It definitely didn’t go as planned because of two illnesses. I can’t believe I am wrapping up my last full month of undergrad this weekend and will be graduating in just over a week. Here’s what happened in April: I went to my third Beaux Arts Ball with my fiance, best friend, and her boyfriend. It was fun to get dressed up with them! // I set-up a gallery in Knowlton Hall for the Safe Routes to School Conference. The set-up went a lot crazier than we planned, but I am really proud of my group for getting it together. I will sharing pictures of the gallery next week. // I got to hear Gil Penalosa of 8 80 Cities give an inspiring lecture at Knowlton for the Safe Routes to School Conference and have dinner with him & other professionals after. This was on of those moments that made me fall in love with planning again. // I sent out some job applications. // I went to an art gallery called “The Visible Invisible” that showcased art from homeless youth and purchased a piece of art for myself. // I got the stomach bug and a cold. The stomach bug kicked my butt and surely set me back during the month. // I had two reunions with friends and it made me feel all the feels. Friends are good, high school and college ones. // I went to Northstar Cafe for free veggie burgers on Earth Day with some friends. SO GOOD. // I got my cap, gown, & honors cords! I had my last day of classes for undergrad! And, I finished & submitted my thesis! I FINISHED UNDERGRAD! 🙂
Have a great weekend!
