What I Wore — Flower Child

This is my 300th blog post! How crazy is that!? I am so happy that I have kept up with blogging. Anyways, I really wanted to spend some time snapping pictures of pretty spring flowers this weekend, so once I got off work on Saturday, Chase and I took a trip to Goodale Park. I love this time of year when all the trees are filled with beautiful pink flowers. The park was filled with others playing and taking pictures within the spring scenery. I also thought the trees would make a great backdrop with my outfit. This outfit has a few vintage pieces in it that made me feel like a flower child. A flower child in a bunch of spring flowers is perfect, right?

I got this skirt while I was in Dallas from Second Kiss Vintage Boutique. They had a great selection of vintage pieces and everything was well-priced. I saw this skirt and decided to try it on–it was so cute that I had to get it! It’s unique and I don’t have anything else like it in my closet. It’s a suede material, so it actually is great for colder weather (it was sunny & felt somewhat like spring, but it was also a little chilly when we took these photos).  I’m excited to style it again! This is the second time I have worn this top on the blog, the first was an outfit post from last spring break (see here). I feel like jean jackets are perfect for fall and spring, anyone else agree? I love when I get to break out my dad’s old jean jacket.

Do you have an outfit that makes you feel like a flower child? Have a great Wednesday!
