It’s been a while since my last outfit post! My last one was this Valentine’s Day outfit. These photos were taken before Chase & I went to the Kacey Musgraves concert a couple weekends ago. We saw Kacey Musgraves at Express Live Indoors (formerly the LC) and grabbed dinner at Nada beforehand. Nada was SO amazing! Definitely one of my new favorites in Columbus. I definitely see why Amanda at Girl About Columbus raved about it on her blog! Anyway, before our dinner reservation, Chase snapped these photos around the Arena District.
Chase got me the cape (plus two pairs of fleece leggings) from Vernacular for Valentine’s Day. When we were out & about on Valentine’s Day we stopped at a few places and he told me that I could pick my own gift. We saw the cape in the sale section, and we both thought it was something I could rock even though it was different than my usual style. I love it! I’ve worn it a few times already and it makes me feel like a westerner! And it is super cozy & soft! Chase also got me the cowboy boots from DSW a few Christmas’ ago; and I thought that the boots, cape, jean dress would make a perfect outfit for a country concert! I also think this is the first time I have worn my cowboy boots on the blog, even though I have had them for so long! This outfit made me think of April at Pieceology because of her funky style mixture of vintage & western. I think I will be packing this outfit when I go to Dallas, but hopefully I will not need the tights! How would you wear the cape?
Have a great Tuesday!
