Defining Life Project

Defining Life Project: Definitions #111-115

The meaning of life is to love and to be loved. Love makes life worth living –  the love of family, the love of friends, and the love of a boyfriend or girlfriend. Life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest; having the most fun possible and surrounded by the people you cherish.  GMG

Life is.  JEH

We spend our whole lives trying to discover what life is about, only to realize that we never will. There is no absolute, not true set treasure of life that a person is supposed to discover. What we learn is that life is meant to teach, a journey lived whose only purpose is to be passed on.   ARD

Life is a time of joy to get ready to eternal life.  MAM

Life is a journey filled with many opportunities and chances. Choices you make. Define what your life is.  VLB II

Wow. These past couple weeks have been rough. The push to get everything done before my spring break is in full force and leaving me exhausted at the end of each day (as I started this post). But I am going to keep up with this blogging thing and my Lent goal of sharing a piece of the Defining Life Project once a week! The first definition reminds me of some of the ones that were shared last week. I knew at least a couple people would just say “life is” when I asked for their definition of life. I think there is some truth in the third definition – we never know what is in store for us and it’s hard to plan out our lives because things change. Although, I think there is a greater purpose than only to have life passed on.

I’d love to hear what you think about the definitions! Is there one that speaks to you? Have a great Thursday! Tomorrow I will be sharing more about my trip to Detroit.
