I recapped my Ann Arbor trip a few weeks ago, but never shared my Traveling Toms post! I already shared pictures of Downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. These are some odds and ends of my trip to Ann Arbor. We visited the University of Michigan football stadium before we headed back to Columbus, which is where I took the Traveling Toms pictures. We even took some O-H-I-O photos, but they are not featured in this post.
I loved the murals that we stumbled upon while exploring Ann Arbor! The quotes on the side of Literati Bookstore are such a creative idea. We had fun taking pictures with them, like this one. The second photo from the bottom was a “fairy room” inside Peaceable Kingdom (see the door to the room here). Fairy Doors are one of Ann Arbor’s special characteristics (read about it here). We talked with the worker at Peaceable Kingdom about the fairy doors after we found theirs, and we visited Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea shop to see another. I love when cities think of creative ways to make an identity – there is even a tour map to see them all!
Have you ever visited Ann Arbor? If so, did you see the fairy doors? Have a great Tuesday!
