As promised in yesterday’s post about my word for the year, here are some shots that my friend snapped while we were exploring Columbus. This dress is my absolute favorite! I got it last winter from Old Navy for $10, and it was actually featured in this outfit post last January. I wish I had this style of dress in every color and pattern. I’ve basically been wearing versions of the outfit for the past few months. The sweater sat in my closet for the longest time and now it is one of the most worn pieces in my closet. I like that throwing it on an outfit can dress it up. And you guys already know my love affair with these booties!
Dress: Old Navy ~ Cardigan: hand-me-down from a friend (originally from Forever 21) ~ Tights: Target ~ Booties: Macy’s ~“Create” Necklace: Red Giraffe Designs ~ Earrings: gift
We traveled all over Columbus to shoot these photos! The first set are from the mural “Garbo and Gilbert” near Old Towne East in the Discovery District . I definitely want to come back and take photos here again when the sun is not blinding me. Notice my very squinty eyes? The second set are from the inside of the North Market. We started our afternoon at the North Market, and treated ourselves to Jeni’s and Bubble Tea & Juice Company (I got the coffee milk bubble tea – yum!). And the last set our from a track in Franklinton. We stopped in Franklinton to get some cool skyline views, but ended up getting stuck by the train. I will have a separate post for more train photos! It was such a nice day to explore the city with friends. We all agreed that we need to do stuff like that more often. And I love all the photos my friend shot! She has a DSLR, and the quality is crazy good. I like my digital camera, but I can’t wait to upgrade to a DSLR someday. I might try to get one after graduation.
Do you have a favorite dress or location to shoot at? Have a great Tuesday!
