Rainbow Row | Charleston, SC

rainbowrow_tvuOne of the reasons Chase and I decided to go back to Charleston on our way back from Florida was I wanted to see the insta-famous Rainbow Row. The architecture in Charleston surely does not disappoint and this block is no exception.  Charleston has some of my favorite architecture and the colorful fronts were one part I loved! It kind of bothered me that there were so many vehicles in the photos, but that’s American streets these days! We visited in the morning when it was pretty quiet. After walking the block, we walked near the waterfront.

We ended up stopping in Johnson City for lunch at Tupelo Honey Cafe, one of our favorites! I had another bowl of shrimp and grits, and I actually liked them more than the ones I had at Hominy Grill in Charleston! I had some grits in Ohio this week and they were not the same as the southern grits. Well I still have a couple more posts I want to share from my Charleston trip. And once I share those, I’ll share some photos from our trip to Key West.

Have a great Friday! I hope it is filled with rainbows 🙂
