What I Wore — Navy & Brown

tarpy 081

Chase and I had a mini-adventure in Tarpy Woods earlier this week. I wanted to try some place different for outfit pictures. I have some pictures for a separate post on Tarpy Woods. I used to go to Tarpy fairly often in high school. The park is fairly secluded from Grandview/Marble Cliff. We used to workout in Tarpy for cross country every so often. The park/wooded area has been cleared since I went to high school. The train tracks that are seen below are just outside the woods. As we were taking pictures a train came by, which was pretty cool. I got a great picture of the front of the train, that I will share in the other post.

I figured out a way to remix this summer dress! Here is the dress in another blog post from this past summer. I have been trying so hard to remix summer clothes for fall/winter to maximize my wardrobe. Wearing sweaters over summer dresses is a great to do that. I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago, but with different boots. I just got the booties this week and was looking forward to wearing them with this outfit. I had been looking for a pair of reasonably priced booties for about a month until I came across these. I got them for $30, when they were originally marked for $60 (they are marked at $40 now). I really love how this outfit came together!

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I’m enjoying my break from school/work. Have a great weekend!
