Defining Life Project

Defining Life Project: Definitions #91-95

Life is yours to live, but don’t take it for granted.   MES

[Life is] A crazy messed up world filled with greedy people out for money and power, and there’s pretty much no point in living in this day an age.  JHD

I think life is what you make of it and it can be spent in many different ways. I think life is made up by goals with jobs, family, whatever really, and can be determined by your success. Life is kinda a game and we are just it’s players. The goal, of course,  is whatever you make of it, whether it is just to enjoy it or get something out of it.    MB

Oh goodness. Life. It’s something you only experience once. You have to make the most of it. Screw people telling you what to do.  Having someone to experience it with you is important also.   CJH

Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get (Forrest Gump, 1994).  JED

I had planned to publish another in-between post for today, but ran out of time to write it, so I am hoping to have one ready next week! It’s crazy that I have almost shared 100 definitions that I have collected over the years – it’s crazy that I even got that many. It wasn’t always easy getting responses from people, and a lot of them would say they would think about it and get back to me and never did. But anyways…now onto these specific definitions.  The second one is probably one of the most pessimistic definitions I have posted at this point. That doesn’t make it bad, I see what the person meant by that. I see the evil in the world and it has been weighing on me more lately. I think we just gotta find something to strive for to see past all the mess, which relates to the third definitions. We have to move past everything to get the joy and what we want out of this life.

Feel free to share if a definition connects to you in the comments! If you want to share your definition of life please email me at thevintageurbaniteblog[at]gmail[dot]com.
