University of Washington

While in Seattle, three friends and I decided to visit University of Washington in the evening. We were curious about their urban planning graduate program and asked about it around at the conference, but we also just wanted to see the campus. And it was a beautiful campus. We walked through main areas of campus while asking for directions from several students and even visited the library (Hogwarts-like pictures). We ended our evening with Molly Moon’s Ice Cream , which was basically their version of Jeni’sΒ (sadly, which is currently under a voluntary recall). It was a really nice evening, and some of the photos I captured were in “magic hour”!

Be sure to check out the mountain peeking through the background of the two fountain pictures!

Even though I thought University of Washington’s campus was gorgeous, I noticed that Ohio State’s isn’t that bad either. This past weekend after returning from the conference I had to stop by the library to meet a group, and I noticed that OSU is also beautiful. Since I am a Buckeye, I don’t often recognize the beauty from my day-to-day walks and activities on campus. I knew I loved Knowlton, but I definitely appreciate my own campus after visiting another. Yeah…Ohio State doesn’t have mountains in the distance, but we have amenities like the Short North a close walk away.

Have a great Wednesday!
